Last Friday on “WWE SmackDown,” Austin Theory and Grayson Waller of A-Town Down Under not only brought the flash but also the sass as they traded in their “SmackDown” Tag Team Championships for the sleek new WWE Tag Team Championships. The dynamic duo strutted into the ring, and boy, did they put on a show, alongside the wrestling heavyweight Nick Aldis and WWE’s very own Paul “Triple H” Levesque. The new belts? They’re a nod to the classic World Tag Team Championships—a real treat for those who relish a bit of nostalgia with their body slams.

Waller couldn’t stop himself from gushing over the new titles, calling them a “superstar’s championship.” Clearly, the belts are as shiny as his grin! But the drama didn’t stop at the belt swap. When it came time to shake hands with Triple H, Theory and Waller played the tough guys, choosing to pump fists with their own teammate instead. Aldis wasn’t having any of it and threw down a heavyweight threat—if these boys didn’t shape up, he’d break up their tag team faster than you can say “WWE Draft.”

The ring then became a revolving door of tag teams itching to throw their hats into the ring for the shiny new titles. The Street Profits, New Catch Republic, Authors of Pain, and Legado del Fantasma all vied for the spotlight. It was Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits who clinched the win, pinning Angel of Legado del Fantasma, and securing a future clash with A-Town Down Under.

While the WWE universe is still buzzing about when this title showdown will happen, one thing’s for sure: the new WWE Tag Team Championships have already sparked a fire. So, grab your popcorn, folks, because if the drama in the ring is anything to go by, we’re in for a blockbuster battle that’ll be talked about for years to come!

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
