The wrestling ring was ablaze with action at AEW’s Dynasty Zero Hour, where championship dreams were made and broken. Jay White and The Gunns (Austin and Colten) struck gold as they battled The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn in a high-stakes winner-takes-all match for both the AEW Trios and ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championships.

The match kicked off with an electric exchange between Anthony Bowens and Jay White, setting the tone for what was to become a familial drama and a wrestling clinic rolled into one. Billy Gunn, affectionately known as “Daddy Ass,” tagged in to face his own son, Austin, leading to a poignant yet competitive father-son exchange that had the crowd roaring. Billy showed he still had plenty of fight left in him, deflecting his sons’ attacks with the resilience of a seasoned pro.

The action crescendoed when Billy Gunn nearly clinched victory with his signature move, the Famouser. However, Jay White, demonstrating why he’s a force to be reckoned with, countered with a devastating Blade Runner, sealing the deal and pinning Billy to unify the titles under the newly christened “Bang Bang Gang,” a faction of Bullet Club Gold.

This significant win ended The Acclaimed’s impressive 203-day reign, which began when they dethroned the House of Black last August. The Bang Bang Gang’s victory not only unified the trios titles but also cemented their growing legacy in the wrestling world.

With the belts now securely around the waists of Jay White and The Gunns, the AEW landscape shifts once more, promising more intrigue and action as these champions set out to defend their unified titles.
