As the summer sun begins to hint at its arrival, All Elite Wrestling is gearing up for a return to the iconic Wembley Stadium on August 25, looking to create another historic night of wrestling. The stakes are high, and the anticipation is even higher, as AEW aims to turn its marquee event, All In, into an annual spectacle within the bustling heart of London.

Last year’s All In at Wembley was nothing short of a blockbuster, drawing an eye-popping 81,035 attendees. While beating this number might seem like a Herculean task, the early buzz for the 2024 edition is promising. According to the wrestling oracle Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ticket sales are already smashing expectations with over 41,000 tickets snapped up—a commendable feat with four whole months still on the clock.

This burgeoning tally already positions All In 2024 as potentially the third largest wrestling event in England’s storied history, trailing only behind its predecessor in 2023 and the legendary WWE Summerslam of 1992. Expand the scope to the entire United Kingdom, and this event stands as the fourth largest, with WWE’s 2022 Clash At The Castle in Wales also in the mix.

Adjustments to the staging could be playing a part in the ticket dynamics, with this year’s event showcasing a grander entrance ramp at one of Wembley’s goal ends—different from last year’s setup near the Wembley dugout. Although this change slightly reduces the maximum capacity to just over 50,000, the essence of the event remains undiluted. WrestleTix notes that not all sections are yet open for sale, suggesting there’s room to grow those numbers further.

As the countdown to August 25 continues, the buzz around All In 2024 is palpable. With the promise of thrilling matchups, unexpected surprises, and the sheer spectacle of wrestling at Wembley, AEW is not just aiming for a successful event; they’re wrestling to make history. Whether or not they surpass last year’s record, one thing is clear: All In 2024 is shaping up to be a night to remember.
