Breaking news from the wrestling ring, folks! AEW has decided to shuffle the deck this year with a significant change to their All Out 2024 event. Traditionally held on Labor Day weekend, this year’s show is moving from its initial date of September 1 to a week later on Saturday, September 7. Yes, you heard it right—the wrestling bonanza is shifting gears and giving fans a bit more breathing room after All In at Wembley on August 25.

According to Fightful Select, AEW made this change following feedback that the original schedule was too tight. AEW has confirmed the new date and promises to release ticket information soon. So, keep your eyes peeled and your wallets ready, folks!

But don’t worry, All Out remains true to its roots. It will still be hosted at the NOW Arena, just outside Chicago, maintaining its tradition as an Illinois-based event. And to make things even more exciting, “AEW Collision” and “AEW Rampage” will be taped on Friday, September 6 in the Chicago area, making it a wrestling-packed weekend.

Last year’s All Out faced a bit of turmoil, airing just a week after All In and undergoing last-minute changes. CM Punk’s dramatic exit after his altercation with Jack Perry led to Bryan Danielson stepping in for a thrilling Strap Match against Ricky Starks, which Danielson won. Despite the excitement, All Out 2023 recorded the lowest pay-per-view buy rate of AEW’s events for the year, with just 100,000 buys. In contrast, All In raked in 200,000 buys, WrestleDream hit 110,000, and Full Gear drew between 122,000 and 140,000.

With a new date and a bit more breathing room, AEW is hoping to boost those numbers and deliver an unforgettable show. So mark your calendars for September 7, wrestling fans—All Out 2024 is set to be a knockout!
