In a move straight out of a feel-good sports movie, Fightful Select reports that Steven Borden is trading in his college football gear for wrestling tights and is currently training under the watchful eye of Darby Allin. Yes, you read that right – Allin has a wrestling ring in his backyard, and Steven is so committed he’s reportedly sleeping in a tent in Allin’s front yard. Talk about dedication!
Steven, who donned the persona of “Wolfpac Sting” at AEW Revolution, seems to have caught the wrestling bug. After performing alongside his father and brother Garrett (who played “Surfer Sting”), Steven experienced an emotional high that has now driven him to seriously consider a career in professional wrestling. Despite previously describing his wrestling future as “murky,” the young Borden’s passion appears to be ignited.
The Borden family’s involvement at AEW Revolution was nothing short of cinematic. Teaming up with Sting and Allin, Steven and Garrett played pivotal roles in their victory over Matt and Nick Jackson.
