Hold onto your kilts, folks! WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque just flipped the script during the WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024 event. Backstage with Kayla Braxton, Triple H did what he does best: shock and awe. First, he played the nice guy, sending congrats to Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, and Randy Orton for their victories. But then, he dropped a haggis-sized bombshell: Drew McIntyre is not only cleared to compete, but he’s set to duke it out with Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in Glasgow, Scotland, at Clash at the Castle on June 15.

Drew McIntyre, the Scottish warrior, has had more detours than a GPS with a broken signal. He got yanked out of the King of the Ring tournament and watched from the sidelines as Jey Uso, his replacement, danced his way to the semi-finals. This was just the latest episode in the McIntyre drama series, following his WrestleMania 40 mishap. After snatching the title from Seth Rollins, McIntyre couldn’t resist taunting CM Punk, leading to a CM Punk ambush and Damian Priest cashing in his Money in the Bank. Talk about a bad night in the office.

Now, Drew is heading to his homeland, ready to rewrite history with the Scottish crowd roaring him on. But let’s not forget, his last Clash at the Castle outing in 2022 didn’t exactly end with him raising the trophy. Roman Reigns sent him packing, sans Universal title. This time, McIntyre’s hoping the Scottish charm and some hearty haggis will turn his luck around.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
