Ladies and gentlemen, grab your crowns and dust off your royal robes because WWE is bringing back the King and Queen of the Ring event, and it’s going to be more epic than a Game of Thrones season finale (minus the disappointing ending, hopefully). Last year, this event was put on hold in favor of the Night of Champions, but now it’s back, bigger and better, with six thrilling matches on the card, including one on the kickoff show.

After successfully defending his title against AJ Styles at WWE Backlash, our Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is set to face a new challenger – the United States Champion Logan Paul. Yes, you read that right. While WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis initially planned a title-for-title showdown, Logan Paul used his… persuasive skills to ensure only the Undisputed WWE Championship will be on the line. Smart move or just another YouTube prank? We’ll find out.

In the women’s division, Liv Morgan is stepping up to challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s World Championship. Lynch claimed the vacant title in a battle royal on WWE Raw last month, where Morgan was the runner-up. This time, Morgan is not settling for second place.

The Intercontinental Championship will be defended by Sami Zayn against not one, but two formidable opponents – Chad Gable and Bronson Reed. Both have been gunning for Zayn recently, so expect this match to be as chaotic as a catfight in a yarn factory.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships will be on the line during the pre-show, with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defending against Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. This announcement came hot on the heels of Belair’s loss to Nia Jax in the Queen of the Ring semi-finals on SmackDown. Talk about a rough night.

Speaking of the Queen of the Ring tournament, Nia Jax’s victory has secured her a spot in the finals against Lyra Valkyria, who fought her way past IYO SKY, Zoey Stark, and Dakota Kai. This clash promises to be more intense than a royal wedding guest list drama.

Over in the King of the Ring tournament, “The Ring General” GUNTHER will face “The Viper” Randy Orton in what will be their first-ever singles match. With a title match at WWE Summerslam on the line, this bout is going to be more explosive than fireworks on the Fourth of July.

Here’s the full card for WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024:

  1. Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Logan Paul
  2. WWE Women’s World Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Liv Morgan
  3. Intercontinental Championship: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed
  4. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) vs. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell (Kickoff Show)

Prepare for a night of regal rumbles, royal rivalries, and crowning glory!
