WWE’s fiery star Shotzi has been sidelined with an ACL injury since February 20, when she challenged Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship on “WWE NXT.” While she’s not yet ready to make her triumphant return to the squared circle, WWE took to Instagram to provide fans with an encouraging update on her health status. Turns out, her knee injury has given her a chance to address a lingering back issue from almost two-and-a-half years ago. Talk about making the best of a bad situation!

Shotzi, ever the warrior, shared her journey with fans: “In Mexico to finally get the stem cells I have been wanting since I hurt my back 2 and 1/2 years ago! Realizing that my knee injury is giving me the opportunity to finally heal my back has been a huge silver lining. Thank you @rejuvstem Thank you Universe. I am forever grateful. Here is to wrestling pain free when I come back! But first coconuts and cenotes!”

Initially, Shotzi was expected to be out of action for about nine months. If her recovery timeline is still accurate, fans will have to wait a bit longer before seeing her distinctive green hair and tank entrance. The big question remains: which brand will she return to? With her name absent from the recent “WWE Raw,” “WWE Smackdown,” or “NXT” draft, her comeback could add a fresh twist to any roster.

Shotzi joined WWE in 2019 and has made a name for herself on “NXT” and “SmackDown.” Before she became a full-time WWE Superstar, she even participated in trials for the company’s reality competition series “Tough Enough.” Now, as she focuses on healing and rejuvenation, fans eagerly await the day she returns to the ring, pain-free and ready to bring her unique energy back to WWE.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
