In a twist-filled rematch from the King and Queen of the Ring, WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan clung to her title like a politician to a podium, triumphing over Becky Lynch in what may be “The Man’s” WWE swan song.
The climax on “WWE Raw” was more chaotic than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Dominik Mysterio, channeling his inner meddler, interfered seemingly for Lynch. Meanwhile, Braun Strowman was on a rampage, chasing Finn Balor and JD McDonagh like a bull in a china shop. Strowman’s colossal collision with Mysterio sent Dominik flying into the cage door, which bonked Lynch on the head. This unwitting assist allowed Morgan to slither out of the cage and secure her championship. As the dust settled, Morgan sashayed up the ramp, locked eyes with Mysterio, and sealed the moment with a steamy kiss on “Dirty Dom” as the show faded to black. Talk about a mic drop moment!
Backstage Banter and Contract Catastrophes:
Earlier in the night, Lynch shared a reflective moment with Lyra Valkyria, sounding more like a motivational speaker than a wrestler. “Saturday didn’t go our way, but it’s not about winning all the time. It’s about getting better every time. We either win or we learn until it’s time to walk away,” she mused, possibly hinting at her WWE exit strategy.
Becky’s WWE contract has been a hot topic, and according to Fightful Select, her deal expires this coming Saturday. With no agreement in sight, fans had their popcorn ready, knowing this could be Lynch’s final bow. Adding to the drama, Lynch hit the ring in Scott Hall/Outsiders-inspired gear, a nod to Hall’s iconic WCW debut on May 27, 1996.
