Hold onto your wrestling belts, folks! The buzz around “WWE NXT” is hotter than a summer BBQ as main roster stars are making cameo appearances left and right. Fans have recently enjoyed glimpses of Chelsea Green, Ivy Nile, and Michin, who’s set to compete in a Women’s North American Championship qualifying match on tonight’s episode. But wait, there’s more! Another main roster star is on the verge of shaking things up in NXT.
According to the ever-reliable Fightful Select, NXT officials have their sights set on bringing Tegan Nox back into the fold. Nox, who was drafted to “WWE SmackDown” during the 2024 WWE Draft, has yet to make waves on the blue brand. With no immediate creative plans for her on the main roster, Nox is expected to lace up her boots for another exciting run in NXT. Although the exact date of her return remains a mystery, insiders describe it as happening “soon.”
This juicy tidbit comes hot on the heels of an announcement from NXT General Manager Ava, who teased that Roxanne Perez’s next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship will be unveiled on the May 28 episode of “NXT.” While Fightful couldn’t confirm if Nox will be the chosen contender, the timing of her return is tantalizingly close.
A return to NXT would mark Nox’s first in-ring action since the April 20 WWE live event in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Her last televised match saw her team up with Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark in a losing effort against Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane on the April 1 episode of “WWE Raw.”
