In the latest episode of “Wrestling with Parenthood,” Alexa Bliss, our favorite five-time WWE Women’s Champion, took a break from body-slamming and suplexing to address some real-life drama involving her daughter Hendrix. While rumors swirl about Bliss’s potential return to the WWE ring, she’s been more preoccupied with her tiny tag team’s health.
On Monday morning, Bliss took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to clear up concerns about a recent video of Hendrix sporting a helmet. Turns out, little Hendrix was born with torticollis—a condition that makes turning the neck a chore, leading to moderate to severe plagiocephaly, or as it’s more commonly known, flat head syndrome. After some failed attempts at repositioning and stretches, Hendrix now dons the helmet to correct the condition. Think of it as the cutest little piece of headgear ever, with a mission more critical than winning a championship belt.
Bliss, ever the optimistic and proactive mom, shared her hopes that the helmet will do its job, allowing Hendrix to avoid any future head-related issues. She even called on her fans for tips and tricks about caring for helmet-wearing babies, ensuring Hendrix is as comfy as possible while rocking her new accessory. Bliss assured concerned followers that Hendrix’s condition is common and nothing to worry about. Always one to keep things light-hearted, she also asked for creative ideas on how to decorate Hendrix’s helmet—because why settle for plain when you can have pizazz?
Hendrix’s health isn’t the only challenge Bliss has faced since her last match in January 2023. Bliss also battled skin cancer, a condition she attributes to her younger, less sunscreen-savvy days of tanning bed use. Thankfully, she got the all-clear just days after going public with her diagnosis.
So while we eagerly await Alexa Bliss’s return to the squared circle, we’re also cheering her on in her most important role yet: Supermom.
