Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for the greatest show on earth! No, not WrestleMania—I’m talking about Drew McIntyre’s latest stand-up routine, live from WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. This Scottish Warrior has added a new title to his resume: Chief Trolling Officer.
In his latest comedy act, McIntyre targeted none other than former WWE Champion CM Punk. The scene unfolded on X (formerly known as Twitter), where Drew took trolling to new heights—or perhaps, new screens. Near the entrance of WWE HQ, McIntyre unveiled his master plan. “This is your job. It’s the new headquarters. We have all this technology. I want this to be the first thing people see – [Punk’s] big, stupid face when they walk in the door. Can we do it?” he inquired of a WWE staffer, who, armed with a switch panel, made the magic happen.
In a swift flick of a switch, the video wall, which was proudly displaying a WWE Clash at the Castle graphic, transformed into a masterpiece: a crying CM Punk. McIntyre, clearly an aficionado of modern art, declared the image a work of “art.” And just like that, the entrance of WWE HQ became the hottest exhibit in town, courtesy of Drew McIntyre.
This hilarious installment is just the latest in a saga that began at the 2024 Royal Rumble, when Punk’s announcement of a torn triceps injury gave McIntyre the perfect fodder. “I prayed for your downfall,” Drew had quipped, turning Punk’s misfortune into a comedic goldmine.
But Punk wasn’t going to take it lying down. At WrestleMania 40, he struck back in style, using his arm brace to deliver a smackdown on McIntyre. This unexpected twist paved the way for Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, snatching the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from a bewildered McIntyre.
Now, two months later, the stage is set for the next act. At Clash at the Castle on June 15, McIntyre and Priest will face off, the title on the line and the laughs guaranteed.
