Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and all the wrestling aficionados out there, grab your popcorn because we’ve got a juicy tale of revenge, betrayal, and unexpected alliances hotter than a jalapeño in a sauna! The drama unfolded right after WWE NXT went off the air, and trust me, it’s spicier than grandma’s secret chili recipe.

Ethan Page – the self-proclaimed future of WWE NXT – has been making waves (and enemies) faster than a cat video going viral. With his eyes firmly set on the NXT Championship, he’s also got more targets on his back than a dartboard at a frat party. After a tense staredown with NXT Champion Trick Williams, Page probably thought he’d just signed off for the night. Oh, but fate (and Oro Mensah) had other plans!

Enter Oro Mensah, stage left, ready to serve some cold, hard revenge. Mensah, who’s been stewing like a kettle left on the boil after being attacked weeks ago (allegedly by Williams), decided it was time for a surprise pop quiz – and guess who failed? That’s right, Ethan Page! Mensah stormed the ring faster than you can say “plot twist,” delivering a beatdown that would make even the most jaded wrestling fan cheer. Referees and WWE security had to jump in to separate the two, proving once again that NXT isn’t just a wrestling show; it’s a full-blown soap opera with more twists than a pretzel factory.

Now, Page is gearing up for a showdown with Williams at this Sunday’s Battleground event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, NV. And if you thought the Strip was just for gambling, think again – because there’s going to be a lot more than chips hitting the floor.

In a turn of events that makes daytime TV look predictable, Mensah and his Meta-Four buddy Noam Dar were initially thought to be victims of Trick Williams. But hold onto your hats – Ethan Page confessed to the attacks right after signing with NXT! Talk about making an entrance. This revelation left everyone as stunned as a deer in headlights, especially since Page’s contract negotiations with NXT GM Ava had been more drawn out than a reality TV reunion.

For those keeping score at home, Page jumped ship from AEW, where he’d been flexing his muscles since 2021, to make his big splash in NXT. Rumors flew faster than a wrestling chair about Page possibly rejoining TNA, especially after TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace debuted on NXT. But no, folks, Page is firmly in WWE territory now, adding yet another chapter to the ever-entertaining wrestling saga.
