Earlier this month, the wrestling world was hit with some unfortunate news as WWE NXT star Javier Bernal suffered an injury during a taping of “NXT Level Up.” The incident occurred during a tag match against Duke Hudson and Rilsey Osborne, leading to speculation that surgery might be needed. According to the “Wrestling Observer Newsletter,” the predictions came true as Bernal underwent knee surgery late last week. The prognosis? Our brave grappler will be out of the ring for at least six months, possibly longer. The injury reportedly happened when Bernal heroically caught Osborne during a dive – talk about taking one for the team!
But every cloud has a silver lining, and Bernal’s social media updates are shining with optimism. “Surgery was a success, my foot is still there! First ever surgery in the books,” Bernal cheerfully announced, putting everyone’s minds at ease. He also gave a shout-out to the WWE medical team for setting him up with top-notch doctors.
Bernal didn’t stop there – he poured out his gratitude for his fiancée, fellow NXT star Tatum Paxley. Paxley, who’s been making waves and even appearing on “TNA Impact” due to WWE’s collaboration with the promotion, has been a rock for Bernal during this tough time. “Thankful for @tatumpaxley_wwe, because I couldn’t get through this weekend without her. Every step of the way, she has taken care of me and won’t let me do anything. She is the love of my life, and it’s obvious as to why I see her as wife material,” Bernal gushed.
Admitting to some fear about the future, Bernal remains determined. “In 6 months time, we are all going to have accomplished our resolutions and come out on the other side stronger than before,” he declared, rallying his fans and peers to join him in this resolution crusade. With such a positive attitude and support system, there’s no doubt Bernal will be back, stronger and better than ever.
