It’s a rough patch for Drew McIntyre, folks. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion got blindsided by CM Punk yet again at Money in the Bank, marking the third time in recent months. But the real kicker? His post-match rant got him suspended from “Raw” by GM Adam Pearce. So, what’s a Scottish warrior to do with all this unexpected free time? Stick it to WWE, naturally.

Wednesday afternoon saw McIntyre signing with Paradigm, the same agency repping WWE stars Tiffany Stratton, Damian Priest, and yes, CM Punk. McIntyre confirmed the deal on X, cheekily mentioning his WWE suspension and hinting at new horizons beyond the ring.

McIntyre was already dipping his toes into Hollywood even before his WWE time-out. He’s starring in the upcoming action flick “The Killer’s Game” with none other than former WWE powerhouse Dave Bautista. In the movie, McIntyre plays Rory MacKenzie, one of two brothers among a crew of hitmen hunting Bautista’s character, Joe Flood, who mistakenly thinks he’s terminally ill and puts a hit out on himself. Talk about a plot twist!

But don’t get too comfy with McIntyre’s new career just yet. His WWE suspension might be lifted as soon as next week, setting the stage for a possible showdown with Punk, assuming Punk recovers from his torn tricep. Rumor has it, we might see this epic clash at SummerSlam in Cleveland. Stay tuned for what promises to be a thrilling continuation of McIntyre’s rollercoaster saga!
