Folks, get ready for a challenge so big, it could only come from someone with a name as money as Mercedes Mone! That’s right, our TBS Champion is throwing down the gauntlet for next week’s “AEW Dynamite.” The twist? She’s open to facing anyone, and I mean anyone, except for the one and only former AEW Women’s World Champion, Britt Baker. It’s like saying, “Come at me, bro,” but with more sparkle and sass.

Mercedes Mone, ever the social media queen, took to X to issue her daring challenge, inviting all AEW women to take a shot at her title during the monumental 250th episode of “Dynamite” at the Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas. The only catch? No Britt Baker allowed. And let’s be honest, nothing says “I’m over you” like an open challenge that specifically excludes your arch-nemesis.

Mone has made it clear she’s had enough of the Baker GIFs flooding her posts, threatening to block or even sue the offenders. That’s one way to keep your mentions clean! This week on “Dynamite,” Mone basked in the glory of her double title win at AEW Forbidden Door, flanked by security to keep Baker at bay. Mone even took the opportunity to tell Baker she won’t be getting a title shot at next month’s All In pay-per-view in London. Talk about a power move!

Rewind to Forbidden Door, where Mone snatched the victory (and both titles) from now-WWE star Stephanie Vaquer in a nail-biting winner-takes-all match. Post-victory, Mone found herself face-to-face with Britt Baker, who made her triumphant return after an injury hiatus since last September. The tension between these two could be cut with a knife—probably one of those fancy steak knives you get at a five-star restaurant.

Adding to the 250th episode’s excitement, we have two other blockbuster matches lined up. The AEW International Championship will be on the line as Will Ospreay defends his title against the ever-controversial former AEW World Champion MJF. And let’s not forget the showdown between Kazuchika Okada and current AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland in a non-title match. It’s a lineup that’s hotter than a summer barbecue!

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
