TNA Wrestling has a knack for teaming up with anyone who doesn’t ghost them after a first date. Rebranding from Impact Wrestling, they’ve done the wrestling tango with independent promotions, lucha libre legend AAA, Japan’s NJPW and Pro Wrestling NOAH, the elusive Global Force Wrestling, and even a quick fling with AEW. But now, TNA World Champion Moose is head over heels with their current partnership, spilling all the juicy details in an interview with “Metro UK.”
“I think this is the best relationship that TNA’s ever had,” Moose gushed, sounding like a high schooler talking about his first love. “[It’s] way better than the one we had with AEW, better than what was done with AAA, and any other company.”
According to Moose, the secret sauce in this wrestling romance is respect. “I think this relationship [with WWE], both companies respect each other and [are] doing great by each other,” Moose explained, possibly with hearts in his eyes.
The former Impact Grand Champion believes that neither company is hogging the spotlight, and it’s bringing out the best in both. “Both companies are doing great. So I think this is how a relationship is meant to be in pro wrestling, and TNA and WWE is doing the best job of it,” Moose proclaimed, possibly while doodling “WWE + TNA 4ever” in his notebook.
TNA stars like Kazarian and Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace have been moonlighting on “WWE NXT,” while former Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry is practically NXT’s prom king these days. Wes Lee also rekindled his bromance with former TNA World Tag Team Champs The Rascalz, and the cross-promotional dream team even snagged a victory over Gallus, with Hendry adding some spicy commentary. Seems like the TNA-WWE relationship is the real deal, folks!
