Ladies and gentlemen, grab your popcorn and your most dramatic wrestling face because AEW Dynamite is about to get a whole lot more intense! After Skye Blue’s unfortunate injury cut short her match on AEW Collision, Hikaru Shida’s thirst for combat remained unquenched. The three-time AEW Women’s World Champion didn’t waste any time setting her sights on a new target: the one and only Dr. Britt Baker.

In a fiery backstage interview, Shida stormed in, cutting off Lexi Nair mid-sentence. With a burning desire for a fight, Shida declared her challenge to Baker, who recently made her dramatic return to AEW. “Welcome back! And now you want to be the TBS Champion?” Shida scoffed, dripping with sarcasm. “Get in line!”

Shida didn’t stop there. She reminded Baker of their bloody history, recalling the time she made Baker bleed and expressing her eagerness to do it again at the upcoming “AEW Dynamite: Blood and Guts.”

Baker’s return was nothing short of a spectacle, happening right after TBS Champion Mercedes Moné’s title-for-title match against Stephanie Vaquer at Forbidden Door 2024. Moné, too, dismissed Baker’s immediate title aspirations, telling her to “get back in line,” to which Baker famously replied that there was no line.

While Baker’s challenge to Moné for the TBS Championship at All In remains unconfirmed, Shida might just be the dark horse in this championship race. As of now, Baker has yet to respond to Shida’s challenge. Should she accept, Shida will be her first opponent on AEW programming post-injury. Buckle up, wrestling fans—this is going to be one wild ride!
