In a spectacle that blended technology and athleticism, AEW’s new character, Hologram, made a stunning debut on AEW Collision this past Saturday night. Facing off against independent wrestler Gringo Loco, who was only making his second appearance on AEW programming, Hologram dazzled both the live audience and viewers at home.

Hologram’s entrance was nothing short of electrifying. Donning a light-up jacket shaped like an “H,” he made his way to the ring with a display that would make even the most seasoned wrestlers envious. Once the bell rang, Hologram showcased his athletic prowess, executing a series of impressive moves against the seasoned indie veteran, Gringo Loco. The match culminated in Hologram’s signature move, the Portal Bomb—a devastating airplane spin into a powerbomb—that secured him the victory.

In the weeks leading up to this debut, rumors swirled about the identity of the man behind Hologram. It was later confirmed that the character is portrayed by former AAA luchador Aramis, now signed to an AEW deal. The Hologram character is reportedly a brainchild of AEW CEO Tony Khan, who had envisioned this unique persona for years.
