Folks, it looks like the WWE universe is about to lose two heavy hitters. Bobby Lashley and MVP are reportedly on their way out, and the wrestling world is buzzing with what comes next for these two veterans.

Bobby Lashley’s contract is set to expire soon, and word on the street is that he’s not thrilled with WWE’s new offer. At 48, Lashley seems ready to move on, possibly seeking greener pastures where his talents can be better appreciated. PWInsider has confirmed that Lashley was offered a new contract but is expected to depart, adding more intrigue to the story.

As for MVP, his contract is rumored to end in mid-August, and so far, there have been no major discussions about renewing it. There were whispers about MVP transitioning to a role as an announcer or producer, but those plans seem to have fizzled out faster than a lukewarm feud.

Both Lashley and MVP are sure to attract interest from other promotions. Fans of The Hurt Business, a faction that many believe was disbanded too soon, might see a reunion outside WWE. While WWE holds the trademark for The Hurt Business, there’s nothing stopping a company like AEW from bringing back the group under a new name.

The Hurt Business also featured Shelton Benjamin, who was released from WWE last year, and Cedric Alexander, who is still with the company. Could we see a reformation of this powerhouse group somewhere else? Only time will tell.

In a twist to the tale, PWInsider’s report contradicts Fightful’s initial scoop by stating that Lashley is still listed on the internal “WWE SmackDown” roster. However, Lashley hasn’t been seen on television since April and has been absent from The Street Profits’ “SmackDown” appearances. Lashley and The Street Profits had formed a trio known as The Pride in 2023, but their future now seems uncertain.
