Folks, let me tell you, the WWE has been making waves in Japan, folks. They’ve stormed the legendary Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo for two nights of non-stop action – their first tour there in five years. The fans are loving it. Absolutely loving it. I hear it’s like Woodstock but with more spandex and fewer questionable substances.

Picture this: Meiko Satomura, the real deal, folks, throwing down the gauntlet to Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship. And why? Because she’s retiring, and she wants to go out with a bang. Classic move. Love it.

But the highlight, oh boy, the highlight of the night, was a tearjerker. Cody Rhodes, ladies and gentlemen, our Undisputed WWE Champion, defended his title against AJ Styles – and won. And then, the real magic happened. He was presented with his late father, Dusty Rhodes’, iconic robe and hat. That’s right, folks, the American Dream’s gear. Tears everywhere, folks, and not just from the onions in the catering.

Cody put on the robe and hat, and let me tell you, he channeled his father’s spirit. He strutted around the ring like a peacock in a tuxedo, bowing to the crowd in classic Japanese respect. It was like watching a throwback to the golden age of wrestling, with a modern twist. Tokyo ate it up, and Cody thanked them, as he should. The man knows how to work a crowd, folks.

Dusty Rhodes, the American Dream, was big in Japan. Huge. He toured with AJPW in 1975, made waves with NJPW in the 80s, and even had a swan song with ZERO-ONE and HUSTLE in the 2000s. He teamed up with his son Dustin, who creatively went by Dusty Rhodes Jr. in HUSTLE. Original, right? The man was a legend on both sides of the Pacific.

So there you have it, folks. A night of action, emotion, and history. The WWE in Japan – it’s like sushi with a side of suplexes. What more could you want?
