Last month, WWE’s own power couple Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews tied the knot, throwing down the ultimate tag team challenge: marriage. But hold onto your folding chairs, because Blair Davenport and Riley Osborne just upped the ante!
In a heartfelt Instagram post that could make even the Undertaker smile, Davenport and Osborne announced their wedding. The nuptials took place on Friday, July 26. Davenport dazzled in a white lace dress that said, “I’m here to pin your heart,” while Osborne rocked a white collared dress shirt and suspenders, probably thinking, “These aren’t just for show; they’re for love.” Captioning the post with a simple “Mr & Mrs” and a red heart emoji, Davenport left fans wrestling with their emotions.
Both hailing from England, this dynamic duo got engaged back in December 2023. Fast forward to the 2024 WWE Draft, where Davenport, aka Bea Priestley, made her grand entrance to the SmackDown roster. Her time on the blue brand has been nothing short of electrifying. She even grappled in a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier, where Naomi emerged victorious. But don’t count Davenport out – the feud is hotter than a summer slam, with Naomi taking another win on the July 12 episode of SmackDown.
Osborne, previously known as Josh Morrell in WWE NXT UK, made his way to the stateside NXT after the UK brand bid adieu in 2022. His NXT journey kicked off with “NXT Level Up” appearances and a fierce run in the NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament. Osborne powered through initial rounds, pinning Keanu Carver and Lexis King, but met his match against the towering Oba Femi in the finals. Femi now holds the NXT North American Championship, but Osborne isn’t tapping out anytime soon.
