Folks, grab your popcorn and your “I Survived Blood & Guts” T-shirts because AEW CEO Tony Khan is pulling out all the stops for the July 31 edition of “AEW Dynamite.” In a move that can only be described as pure wrestling wizardry, two of AEW’s finest will clash in the ring for the first time ever. Yes, you heard it right—Hangman Adam Page will face Darby Allin in a match that promises more fireworks than a Fourth of July party hosted by the Young Bucks.

The Backstory: Blood, Guts, and Rampage

In the blood-soaked chaos of the Blood & Guts match, fans were treated to a tantalizing glimpse of what could be when Hangman Page and Darby Allin crossed paths, albeit briefly. It was like watching two tigers circling each other in the jungle, except with more face paint and cowboy hats. Their only previous encounter was an untelevised skirmish back in 2020, which we can only assume was as epic as finding a clean bathroom at a wrestling venue.

Both gladiators survived the torturous Blood & Guts match and somehow managed to participate in the Royal Rampage taping immediately after. Page took a break from saving cows to assault Jeff Jarrett for daring to help his nemesis, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. Meanwhile, Darby Allin outlasted everyone in the Royal Rampage, securing a future shot at the AEW World Championship. That’s right—he’s not just a guy with a skateboard; he’s a guy with a skateboard and a title shot!

The Rest of the Card: Interviews, Eliminators, and Ospreay Oh My!

But wait, there’s more! Mariah May will sit down with Renee Paquette for a heart-to-heart chat about her upcoming AEW Women’s World Championship match with Toni Storm at All In. Expect tears, drama, and maybe a surprise appearance by a box of tissues.

Bryan Danielson will grace the live audience with his presence and presumably address everything from his next opponent to why he thinks cilantro is overrated. Trust us, it’s going to be riveting.

In another first-time-ever, Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander will face off in an Eliminator Match. If Statlander wins, she gets a shot at Nightingale’s CMLL World Women’s Championship. If Nightingale wins, well, she gets bragging rights and possibly a celebratory burrito.

And let’s not forget Will Ospreay, who will perform for the first time since losing the AEW International Championship. He’s taking on Lance Archer, a man who looks like he eats steel beams for breakfast. Will Ospreay’s comeback be a heroic triumph or a cautionary tale? Tune in to find out!
