Wrestling fans, brace yourselves for a seismic shakeup that could rival a Stone Cold Stunner! WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin, who hung up his boots back in 2003 due to injuries, has sparked rumors of a sensational return. Despite popping up sporadically over the years—most notably, delivering a beer-soaked beatdown to Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38—Austin has been enjoying the quiet life in Nevada.
In a recent interview with The Athletic, while discussing the finer points of ATV racing, Austin seemed content with his retirement, stating, “I’ve told those stories so many (expletive) times, dude. That part of my life is long gone… I’m good here in Nevada. I will not be anywhere I don’t want to be. I just won’t.” But in true Rattlesnake fashion, he left fans a glimmer of hope: “I said I won’t leave Nevada. It’s hard to get me out of this state. But… WrestleMania next year is in Vegas. That’s in Nevada.”
WrestleMania 41 is set to take over Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas during Easter weekend in 2025. While an Austin appearance would be electrifying, the prospect of him stepping back into the ring is mouth-watering. With CM Punk’s long-standing desire to face Austin and Hell recently freezing over, anything is possible!
So, will we see the Texas Rattlesnake rattling some cages in Vegas? Stay tuned, because when Stone Cold talks, you best believe the WWE Universe listens!
