Ladies and gentlemen, gather ’round for the latest episode in the ongoing saga that has more twists and turns than a high-flying WWE match! In the courtroom drama featuring Vince McMahon, his former legal assistant Janel Grant, and the illustrious Dr. Carlon Colker, we’ve got some new developments that are juicier than a steel cage showdown.

A judge has recently put the smackdown on Vince McMahon’s motion to halt Janel Grant’s quest for her medical records from her former physician, Dr. Colker. The judge ruled that Grant’s motion wasn’t violating any recent stay orders in the case. Cue the legal fireworks!

According to Wrestlenomics and court documents, Dr. Colker isn’t taking this lying down. Oh no, folks, he’s entered the ring swinging with a petition against Grant’s motion for discovery. Dr. Colker and his legal team are calling her motion a “smear campaign,” claiming that Grant’s push to uncover what vitamins or vitamin combinations were prescribed could defame him and his practice, Peak Wellness. They argue this could have a “devastating, and potentially long-lasting effect” on their reputation and financial well-being, potentially costing them tens of millions of dollars. In other words, it’s a financial suplex of epic proportions.

Janel Grant, on the other hand, is fighting for her medical records, arguing that she was kept in the dark about much of Dr. Colker’s treatments during her time under his care. And let’s not forget the backdrop of this medical mystery: Grant’s relationship with Vince McMahon. She was hired as his legal assistant and then allegedly subjected to a laundry list of abuses, including sexual, physical, mental, and emotional torture, and even allegations of sex trafficking involving former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Talk about a storyline worthy of prime-time drama!

In a move that surprised no one, Vince McMahon retired from all duties at TKO Group Holdings earlier this year after news of the lawsuit broke, casting a shadow over his legacy that not even the brightest spotlight could dispel.

Stay tuned, folks, because this courtroom drama is far from over.
