WWE Dominates the Javits Center, Leaving Fans Begging for More

New York City’s Javits Center was the epicenter of fan frenzy this weekend, and while Fanatics Fest hosted stars from every corner of the sports universe, it was WWE that truly brought the house down. Over three days, from August 16 to 18, fans poured in to snag a moment with their favorite athletes, but it was the WWE Superstars who set the convention on fire, completely selling out their photo ops and autograph sessions.

WWE Superstars Shine Bright at Fanatics Fest

Day two of the convention, Saturday, August 17, saw WWE Superstars dominate the floor like a Royal Rumble in overdrive. According to Fox News, they were the only talents at the convention to sell out every single one of their meet-and-greet sessions. And can you blame the fans? With a lineup that included CM Punk, Jade Cargill, Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, United States Champion LA Knight, Miss Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton, and the immortal Hulk Hogan, it was practically a who’s who of wrestling royalty.

The fun didn’t stop there, as day three promised more star power with appearances by Rhea Ripley, Bayley, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, and the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes. It’s safe to say that the WWE Superstars didn’t just show up—they took over.

Peter Rosenberg: “The Growth Has Been Insane”

WWE’s resident hype man, Peter Rosenberg, was on-site at Fanatics Fest and couldn’t contain his excitement about the company’s meteoric rise. Speaking with Fox News, Rosenberg marveled at WWE’s evolution, saying, “The company growth has been insane. It’s been one of the great times in the history of the company… I’ve been there now since late 2016, and seeing where it’s gone from when I first got in the door to where we are now, it’s been an amazing time, and I’m super stoked for what’s coming up.”

Fanatics Fest: A Playground for Sports Fans of All Stripes

While WWE certainly stole the spotlight, Fanatics Fest wasn’t short on star power from other sports. NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and UFC stars were out in force, including UFC icons Holly Holm, Michael Chandler, and Dana White, who all brought a little octagon attitude to the Big Apple.

But at the end of the day, it was clear—when it comes to electrifying an arena full of fans, nobody does it like WWE.
