In a move no one saw coming (except maybe everyone who lived through the 90s), Hulk Hogan sat down on Impaulsive to clear up some serious misconceptions. You see, folks, despite what the jabronis and the dirt sheets might tell you, Hogan insists he never flexed his creative control muscles in WCW. Nope, not even once! All those years, six WCW World Titles, and the most famous heel turn in wrestling history—apparently, all just organic, folks!
Hogan, ever the humble Hulkster, also dropped a bombshell that Kevin Nash and Scott Hall had no clue who the third man was for the infamous NWO formation at Bash at the Beach ’96. Yep, they were just hanging out in the ring, waiting for Sting to walk down the aisle, completely oblivious to the fact that The Hulkster himself was about to hit the scene and drop the biggest leg drop in history—on Randy Savage’s career, that is.
“They had no idea,” Hogan said. “They were out there, clueless! I told Eric Bischoff, ‘Hey brother, don’t tell anyone, kayfabe!’ I called Big Kev, saw him come out, and I said to myself, ‘This is it.’ Eric wanted to go with Sting! I said, ‘No way, brother, I am WWE from head to toe!’ I didn’t use creative control, never did, and I didn’t that night either!”
To make things juicier, Hogan revealed Bischoff had Sting on standby, just in case the Hulkster decided to keep his red-and-yellow shirt firmly untorn. Because when it comes to heel turns, who’s more intimidating than the guy with face paint who yells at crows?
