Well, folks, it looks like Major League Wrestling (MLW) is taking things very seriously. Rumor has it they’re building a roster that could even make The Avengers jealous. And their latest addition? None other than the one and only Matthew Justice—because let’s be honest, with a name like that, who wouldn’t want him on their team?
According to Fightful Select, MLW’s big boss, Court Bauer, put on his finest negotiation pants a few weeks ago and sat down with Justice to hash out a deal. Word on the street is that these talks didn’t drag on like your uncle’s Thanksgiving speech. Nope, it was wrapped up faster than a burrito at Chipotle. Justice put pen to paper, and now he’s officially on board for what promises to be a very big push in MLW. What exactly does that mean? Well, folks, nobody knows yet—but trust me, it’s going to be tremendous. The best.
Justice was last seen tearing things up at MLW’s “Summer Of The Beasts” event, where he faced off against Matt Riddle, the guy who wrestles in bare feet because shoes are apparently overrated. But this isn’t Justice’s first rodeo in MLW. He made quite the entrance earlier in the year, taking part in a Dumpster Match against a group that sounds like they walked straight out of a superhero flick—Mance Warner, Microman, and Real1 (yes, that’s Enzo Amore, in case you were wondering). Because what says “professional wrestling” like tossing someone into a Dumpster? Classic.
Justice’s star kept rising when he and 1 Called Manders, both members of the rowdy Second Gear Crew, snagged the MLW Tag Team Championships by defeating AKIRA and Rickey Shane Page at the Fightland event. It was glorious. Unfortunately, their reign came to an end after three months at the hands of Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Tom Lawlor. But, if history tells us anything, it’s that Justice doesn’t stay down for long. He bounces back like a boomerang—except way cooler and with more muscles.
Before joining MLW, Justice was a big deal at Game Changer Wrestling, where he added another tag team title to his collection alongside Mance Warner. And let’s not forget his brief stint with WWE in 2011, where they clearly didn’t know what they had, but that’s their loss, not ours.
Justice is here, folks, and he’s ready to shake things up. Buckle up, because it’s going to be a wild ride.
