Folks, what was supposed to be a classic triple threat ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championships turned into a full-blown demolition derby—ladders, chairs, tables, and a lot of shattered alliances on WWE SmackDown. The Bloodline’s own Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, who apparently wake up every morning choosing violence, retained their titles in a main event match that saw both DIY and The Street Profits left in a pile of broken furniture and broken dreams.

DIY and The Street Profits tried to put aside their differences for all of 10 seconds to focus on dethroning The Bloodline. You know, your standard “enemy of my enemy is my friend” approach. But here’s the thing—when you’re facing The Bloodline, even a temporary alliance lasts about as long as a WWE contract signing without a table flip. The champs had a game plan that involved steel chairs, ladders, and a dash of “we don’t care who we hurt, as long as we win.”

Things escalated when Tama and Loa decided to turn Angelo Dawkins into a chair-cushion, prepping a vicious beatdown. Enter B-Fab, armed with zero patience and a well-timed snatch of Tonga’s steel chair, which caused enough of a distraction for DIY to tag in. Chairs clashed, ladders flew, and for a brief moment, it looked like the alliance might actually work. Both teams sent The Bloodline crashing through tables, creating a highlight reel moment fit for YouTube compilations and “Holy S#@!” chants.

Then came the inevitable implosion. Because really, no temporary alliance in wrestling survives more than five minutes or two chair shots—whichever comes first. As DIY and The Street Profits argued over who got to touch the shiny gold at the top of the ladder, The Bloodline recovered. Tama and Loa, doing what they do best, climbed the ladder, sending both teams through ladders like a backyard wrestling show gone wrong. Loa then scaled the final ladder, yanked down the WWE Tag Team Championships, and secured their 63rd day as reigning champs.

With their titles safe and sound, The Bloodline now shifts focus to Bad Blood this Saturday, where Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa will team up to face Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes and the returning Roman Reigns. It’s a match that promises to break records—or maybe a few more ladders. As for Rhodes and Reigns? They were smart enough to stay out of tonight’s chaos, letting Tama and Loa handle the ladder-breaking duties.
