Folks, it looks like Timeless Toni Storm has hit a little turbulence, and not just in her wrestling career. The former AEW Women’s World Champion was set to make her highly anticipated debut in Mexico’s Arena Mexico for CMLL, but due to the wrath of Hurricane Milton, her travel plans have been thrown off course. With flights grounded and chaos in the skies, CMLL has officially postponed the bout that had fans rolling out the red carpet for Storm’s arrival on October 11.

In a statement, CMLL explained that Storm, thanks to those pesky travel issues, can’t fly out to face La Catalina—formerly known to WWE fans as Katrina Cortez. But don’t worry, folks, the match isn’t cancelled, just postponed, with the promotion working hard with AEW to reschedule this must-see showdown. They’re even apologizing to fans—classy move! They’ll keep everyone in the loop via social media, so you know the updates will come fast and furious (hopefully without Vin Diesel).

This was supposed to be part of CMLL’s Month of Amazonas, where they shine a spotlight on their women’s division, wrapping things up by the end of October. The big question now: will Storm and La Catalina clash before the month runs out? Only time will tell.

For Toni Storm, this was more than just a regular match—it was part of her world tour, folks! Ever since losing the AEW Women’s World Championship to Mariah May at All In 2024 in Wembley Stadium, Storm’s been racking up those frequent flyer miles. She recently made a splashy return to STARDOM in Japan, even challenging Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s Championship—but no dice. Now she’ll have to wait a little longer to debut in Mexico.

So while Toni might be “timeless,” her flight schedule is unfortunately very much on the clock.
