Halloween Havoc ended in a spectacle of chaos after Trick Williams managed to retain his NXT Championship in a grueling Devil’s Playground Match against Ethan Page. Trick wasn’t celebrating long, though, as Ridge Holland and Page launched a post-match beatdown, forcing WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley to step in and defend the champ.

The match itself was pure carnage from the get-go. Page started strong, even attempting a pumpkin-headed assault on Williams, which backfired hilariously as Trick kicked the Jack-O-Lantern clean off his opponent’s head. From there, things escalated fast. Page wrapped a chair around Williams’ neck and slammed him into the ring post, then DDT’d him onto a chair. Somehow, Williams powered through, even managing to return the favor with a punishing neck breaker on a pile of nuts and bolts, adding a Halloween-worthy dose of pain.

The brutality hit its peak when Page launched Williams with his signature Ego’s Edge from the ring steps right through the announce table. Medics rushed in, but Williams shrugged them off, refusing to quit. Back in the ring, the two exchanged low blows and shots with the ring steps, with Williams finally delivering his Trick Shot finisher on Page for the win.

But the night was far from over. Ridge Holland stormed in, teaming up with Page to attack the weary champion. Just when it looked grim for Williams, Bubba Ray Dudley, who’d already had a run-in with Holland earlier in the night, entered the fray, sending the crowd into a frenzy. With the ring a complete battleground, Halloween Havoc 2024 went off the air in sheer chaos, leaving fans wondering what’s next for Trick, Holland, and the new alliance with Bubba Ray.
