Hold onto your wrestling belts, folks, because The Rock, aka “The Final Boss” of WWE, seems to be eyeing a return for WrestleMania 41. After making a surprise post-main-event appearance at Bad Blood earlier this month, where he faced off with both Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, rumors are already heating up about the People’s Champ’s plans for WrestleMania 41. When asked on social media if he’d make it next year, he was quick to throw down the verbal gauntlet and all but say, “You bet I will.”

In the aftermath of Bad Blood, Fightful Select shared insider insights: The Rock is “part of the family,” and if he’s free to appear, he’s definitely welcome back. WWE’s team at the Intuit Dome has their fingers crossed for his cameo on the first WWE Raw to stream on Netflix come January. But while everyone’s buzzing, WWE insiders are tight-lipped, saying they’re as in the dark about his actual plans as the rest of us. Why? Because The Rock lives by a simple motto: “If I want to show up, I will.”

And in classic WWE style, his recent Bad Blood appearance came together without a mountain of behind-the-scenes planning. In fact, Rock’s arrival is reportedly why the tag match between Reigns/Rhodes and Solo Sikoa/Jacob Fatu got the main event slot over the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre Hell in a Cell match. Let’s face it—if The Rock’s crashing a party, the spotlight’s his.

So, as the wrestling world counts down to WrestleMania 41, one thing is clear: you can expect The Rock, but only when he decides it’s time to layeth the smacketh down.
