TNA’s high-flying former X Division Champion Chris Bey recently suffered a severe neck injury during a main event in Detroit, MI. Bey, whose injury led his former Bullet Club ally ELP to rally fan support, released a heartfelt statement on X (formerly Twitter) through TNA Wrestling, thanking fans, family, and medical staff for their support in this difficult time.

“I just want to take a few moments to extend my heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation,” Bey shared. “From everyone at TNA Wrestling, to the incredible medical staff here in Detroit, to family, friends, and fans worldwide… Monday was Day One for me on this journey, which I know will be long and challenging. Thanks again for the love and support, and please keep the prayers coming!”

The injury occurred while Bey and his partner Ace Austin were challenging The Hardys in a TNA World Tag Team Championship match. The duo had recently lost their titles to The Hardys at Bound For Glory, in a Full Metal Mayhem Match that left everyone bruised and battered. Bey has since undergone surgery, reportedly successful, though specifics on his recovery are yet to be confirmed.

With well wishes pouring in, Bey’s resilience and fighting spirit shine, but his journey is just beginning as he looks ahead to a tough recovery road.
