WWE’s The Judgment Day is no stranger to drama, and it seems the faction may be heading for yet another major transformation. Ahead of tonight’s WWE Raw, Finn Balor took to Instagram to tease a potential reimagining of the group, fueling speculation about the faction’s future lineup.
Cryptic Posts and Missing Members
Balor shared photos of himself, Carlito, and J.D. McDonagh making their entrance, with a caption misspelling “Judgment Day.” While it could be chalked up to a typo, fans suspect it’s a deliberate signal. Absent from the photos were Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez, raising questions about whether Balor still considers them part of the faction.
This comes on the heels of Balor and Mysterio butting heads on last week’s Raw. After Mysterio failed to secure a win in a Fatal Four-Way match (which also featured ousted member Damian Priest), tensions flared. Balor, attempting to restore order, paired Mysterio with Carlito for tonight’s match against the War Raiders.
Champions in Turmoil
Balor and J.D. McDonagh currently hold the WWE World Tag Team Championship, but their reign has been quiet, with only one defense since winning the titles in June. With the War Raiders now the number-one contenders, the friction within Judgment Day could jeopardize their hold on the gold.
A History of Upheaval
The Judgment Day has seen its fair share of changes since its inception in April 2022. Once led by Edge (Adam Copeland), the faction quickly replaced him with Balor, who brought in Dominik Mysterio. This year’s SummerSlam saw the group turn on original members Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, leaving none of the founding members in the current lineup.
Balor’s cryptic Instagram post suggests more changes could be on the horizon. Will Judgment Day emerge stronger, or is the faction headed for complete implosion?
