The countdown to Revolution 2025 is officially on, folks! AEW has confirmed that its marquee pay-per-view event will hit the iconic Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on March 9, 2025. Wrestling fans know this venue well—formerly known as the Staples Center, it’s a building steeped in wrestling history, having hosted WWE’s WrestleMania 21, Survivor Series 2018, and countless other high-profile events. Now, it’s AEW’s turn to make its mark.
Revolution’s Legacy: Explosions, Icons, and Iron Men
Since its 2020 debut, Revolution has delivered some of AEW’s most unforgettable moments. From Jon Moxley winning his first AEW World Championship in 2020 to the emotional retirement of Sting at the 2024 show, the event has become synonymous with wrestling’s biggest stories.
Highlights include:
- 2020: The Kenny Omega & Adam Page vs. The Young Bucks classic.
- 2021: The explosive (and somewhat smokey) Omega vs. Moxley Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch.
- 2022: CM Punk and MJF’s bitter rivalry came to an epic conclusion.
- 2023: MJF and Bryan Danielson’s unforgettable 60-Minute Iron Man Match.
- 2024: Sting’s retirement match capped off a legendary, undefeated AEW career.
Now, with the Crypto.com Arena as its stage, Revolution 2025 is poised to deliver yet another monumental chapter in wrestling history.
