Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your trombones because The New Day is about to hit a milestone that’s bigger than Big E’s smile! Next week, WWE Raw will host the 10-year anniversary celebration of one of the most beloved factions in wrestling history. That’s right, a full decade of pancakes, power moves, and an energy level rivaled only by a toddler after Halloween.

According to Advanced Television, the festivities will take place in Everett, Washington. (Yes, Washington. Not exactly a wrestling mecca, but hey, it’s what positivity does—it shows up anywhere.) Fans can expect a smorgasbord of New Day content across WWE’s platforms leading up to the event, including throwback matches, interviews, and enough photo galleries to make your social media feeds scream “FEEL THE POWER!”

Big E: Will He Clap Along One More Time?

Now, here’s the scoop everyone’s whispering about: Big E’s involvement. The former WWE Champion, sidelined since 2022 with a career-threatening neck injury, is expected to contribute to the celebration, though no word yet if he’ll physically appear in the ring. His presence alone could have fans chanting louder than a 2015 Money in the Bank crowd.

And while Big E’s in-ring future is still uncertain, the promise of all three members together for the festivities already has the WWE Universe reaching for their New Day unicorn horns.

Can Pancakes Heal a Riff?

But not everything in the pancake kingdom is sweet syrup and sprinkles. There’s trouble in paradise between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Tensions between the long-time tag partners bubbled over during the summer when Kingston started bringing Odyssey Jones into New Day activities. Jones’ release didn’t squash the tension, and it’s been showing in their performance.

In the last five tag matches, Woods and Kingston have managed to win only once. Singles competition hasn’t been kinder, with Kofi taking three L’s in a row. Can a decade of history smooth things over? Or will this celebration become the emotional equivalent of a chair shot to the back?

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
