In a stunning turn of events, Renee Paquette, AEW’s beloved backstage interviewer, broadcaster, and producer, is reportedly hobbling. Yes, folks, hobbling—like a champion. Forget the wrestlers flying through tables and ladders; it turns out even the microphone warriors face their own battles.

Sources (aka wrestling’s Sherlock Holmes, F4W Online) revealed that Paquette’s foot injury initially appeared serious enough to have her Googling “designer casts for broken bones.” Thankfully, x-rays cleared her of fractures. But minor injury or not, she’s powering through. Renee isn’t just standing backstage looking pretty—she’s producing interviews, running the ship, and probably handing out snacks to Jon Moxley during his pre-match warmups. A modern-day multitasking marvel.

And speaking of foot drama, Renee wasn’t the only one battling podiatric peril at AEW’s Full Gear. Internet sensation Big Boom AJ broke his foot earlier that day but, like a true showman, said, “Let’s roll.” He concealed the injury, wrestled QT Marshall, and even won, thanks to his tag team partner and son, Big Justice. If that’s not the most heartwarming yet painful family bonding activity, what is?

Meanwhile, Renee hosted the Full Gear pre-show panel alongside wrestling legends Jeff Jarrett, Paul Wight, and an Emmy winner, Paul Walter Hauser. Between juggling her producer duties and being married to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley (who successfully defended his title at the event), it seems her foot is the only thing not working overtime.

For now, Renee Paquette’s injury status remains “hobbling, but heroic.” One can only assume her recovery will be filled with as much grace and grit as her backstage interviews. Stay tuned for updates, and maybe, just maybe, an AEW shoe deal in her future.
