TNA Wrestling just dropped a bombshell—Léi Yǐng Lee (formerly Xia Li in WWE) is officially part of their roster. The announcement comes seven months after Lee’s WWE release ended a seven-year stint with the company.

Since debuting in TNA back in September, Lee hasn’t wasted time making an impression. She appeared on TV multiple times and even competed in the Bound for Glory 2024 pre-show. Most recently, Lee challenged Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 12. While she didn’t walk away with the gold, the match showcased Lee’s martial arts prowess and her determination to dominate the Knockouts Division.

In TNA’s official press release, Lee called out Slamovich and former Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, signaling she has no intention of blending into the background. Her combination of martial arts expertise and in-ring skills is sure to shake things up.

Lee’s journey began with WWE in 2017 after a standout tryout in Shanghai. She competed in the Mae Young Classic and the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble, later finding her footing on NXT. After years in developmental, Lee made the leap to WWE’s main roster in 2021. Though her main roster run included memorable moments—like a feud with Becky Lynch in 2023—she struggled to find consistent opportunities.

With a fresh start in TNA, Lee has a chance to reach new heights, and fans are already buzzing about the impact she’ll make in the Knockouts Division. Get ready for a new era of hard-hitting action—because Lee is here to take over.
