Grab your eggnog and steel chairs, folks—Tony Khan has gifted wrestling fans an early holiday treat with announcements for the AEW Continental Classic matches! The high-stakes tournament heats up across upcoming episodes of AEW Dynamite, with Blue and Gold League clashes promising action, drama, and hopefully no one getting hit with a fruitcake.

On December 4, the Blue League steps into the spotlight with Shelton Benjamin taking on Kyle Fletcher. Both men currently sit at three points, meaning this matchup could tilt the balance—without any help from The Hurt Syndicate or The Don Callis Family. (That’s right, no sneaky shenanigans at ringside; this is a purist’s paradise!)

Fast forward to Winter Is Coming on December 11, where the Gold League delivers a double header. AEW Trio Worlds Champion Claudio Castagnoli faces Will Ospreay in what promises to be a technical masterpiece, while Ricochet will try to avoid being squashed (literally) by Brody King. Can Ricochet finally score his first points, or will King leave him gift-wrapped in the ring?

And just when you thought the festivities were over, Holiday Bash on December 18 keeps the momentum rolling. Gold League fans can look forward to Will Ospreay battling Darby Allin in what promises to be a classic blend of aerial wizardry and daredevil destruction.

The Continental Classic culminates on December 28 at Worlds End, where the semi-finals and finals will decide who walks away as the AEW Continental Champion. Until then, current champ Kazuchika Okada holds the title—presumably polishing it while watching the chaos unfold.

Will your favorites make it to the finals, or will holiday heartbreak send them packing? Stay tuned, grab your popcorn, and remember: in wrestling, the only thing sweeter than a win is a festive beatdown.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
