Ladies and gentlemen, WarGames has claimed another victim, and this time it’s the Aussie powerhouse himself, Bronson Reed. Known for his bone-rattling Tsunami Splash, Reed found himself in a not-so-splashy situation after Survivor Series: WarGames, where he teamed with Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline in a losing effort. Now, thanks to one botched landing, Reed is out of action—and sporting some fancy new footwear: the dreaded walking boot.

Walking Boot Chronicles: The Instagram Edition

Reed broke the news to fans via Instagram Stories, sharing a photo of his right foot in a walking boot. The caption? Equal parts frustration and determination. While venting about travel delays and cancellations (a heel move by the airlines, honestly), Reed revealed his plan to get his ankle checked as soon as he landed. His message to fans? Classic Reed: “Hope to come back ASAP and cause chaos as usual!” No one can make a walking boot sound like part of a comeback tour quite like him.

PWInsider later confirmed that Reed will not be appearing on tonight’s Raw. Fans, you’ll have to wait a bit longer for the chaos.

What Went Wrong? The Splash That Didn’t Land

Reed’s injury occurred during the high-stakes WarGames match. Attempting his Tsunami Splash from the top of the WarGames cage onto Roman Reigns, Reed instead landed on his feet after Reigns was moved by CM Punk, missing the table entirely. Ouch. Initially, there were fears Reed had injured both ankles in the mishap, harkening back to Adam Copeland’s similar misstep at AEW Double or Nothing earlier this year. Fortunately, the damage appears to be limited to one ankle, but the walking boot is doing all the talking for now.

Collateral Damage: Jimmy Uso Joins the WarGames Casualty List

Reed wasn’t the only one leaving Survivor Series with battle scars. Jey Uso shared that his brother Jimmy broke a toe attempting his own splash off the cage. Because nothing says family bonding like matching injuries after a chaotic WarGames showdown.

What’s Next for Reed?

For now, Reed is on the sidelines, leaving fans wondering how long the chaos will be on pause. With his signature mix of brute strength and terrifying aerial maneuvers, his absence will undoubtedly leave a void. But knowing Reed, he’ll be back sooner than expected, ready to wreak havoc.
