Bronson Reed’s WarGames debut at WWE Survivor Series was as dramatic as a Steel Cage match on a ladder—but unfortunately, it ended with an injury that’s now stealing the spotlight. Reed, who went full tsunami with a splash off the top of the cage onto Roman Reigns (yes, that Roman Reigns), is now sporting a fashionable walking boot and facing some downtime.

Reed missed Monday’s episode of Raw, which is almost unheard of for a man who can turn a standard wrestling move into a natural disaster. Sharing an update on social media, he posted a photo of himself en route home, captioned by what we assume was a sigh of frustration. Later, the injury was discussed on Wrestling Observer Radio, where Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer reported that Reed might have broken his ankle during the splash.

Let’s be real: when you’re the size of Bronson Reed, gravity doesn’t mess around. After leaping from the top of the cage like he was auditioning for the next Fast & Furious movie, Reed reportedly landed on his feet, causing the damage. While initial reports suggested a broken foot, Meltzer clarified it’s likely just the ankle—though fans are hoping for no “and another thing” twists in this injury saga.

A Tale of Two WarGames Woes

Interestingly, Jimmy Uso also left the match with an injury, though his broken toe pales in comparison to Reed’s predicament. Maybe the real WarGames was the podiatry appointments we made along the way.

Reed’s WarGames Role: Bloodline Adjacent

Despite not officially being in The Bloodline—more like an affiliate member with excellent branding—Reed’s involvement in the storyline saw him as the wrecking ball to balance Solo Sikoa’s cannonball. His injury came just before Solo was pinned, marking a double whammy for the team’s luck.

The silver lining? It’s now believed Reed only injured his right ankle, dodging potential damage to both. As for what’s next, Reed will reportedly undergo further scans to determine the extent of his injuries. Until then, fans can rest easy knowing that even in a walking boot, Bronson Reed is probably still scarier than most of the Raw roster.
