Arlington, we have a problem. AEW President Tony Khan’s big announcement that the third edition of All In will bring pyrotechnics and piledrivers to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on July 12, 2025, has met with a tepid response at the box office. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the early bird doesn’t seem to be catching the worm this time around, with ticket pre-sales reportedly hovering in the “2,000 to 3,000 range.”

Let’s put that in perspective: Globe Life Field can hold about 40,000 people for a wrestling event. So far, ticket sales are less “packed stadium hype” and more “intimate indie show vibes.” To be fair, it’s early—but it’s starting to feel like trying to headline a stadium show without filling smaller arenas is, as the kids say, “a choice.”

Blast from the Past

Back in 2023, AEW’s All In shattered records by selling over 80,000 tickets at London’s Wembley Stadium. A year later, the 2024 edition still managed an impressive-but-not-world-breaking 50,000 tickets sold. Now, in 2025, AEW is betting big on Arlington, and Tony Khan’s vision is nothing short of audacious. But audacity doesn’t pay the rent—or sell the tickets—unless the fans show up.

The Experts Weigh In

Wrestling observers aren’t exactly writing All In 2025’s obituary, but they aren’t sending champagne bottles either. Wrestling Observer’s report noted:

“It’s a reach when the company is drawing what they are to do a stadium that large. In 2019… they would have sold 20,000 tickets first day… Doing stadium shows is very difficult when you aren’t selling out arena shows for the PPV events.”

Translation? Wrestling fans might love Tony Khan’s optimism, but they’re also asking, “Have you seen the economy?”

Lone Star Gamble

Maybe it’s the venue. Maybe it’s the timing. Maybe everyone’s saving their money for London in 2026, when All In returns to Wembley. Whatever the reason, AEW’s Texas-sized dream is off to a slow start. But in wrestling, as in life, it’s not about how you start—it’s about how you finish.

One thing’s for sure: if Tony Khan can turn this slow start into a packed stadium by July, it’ll be one for the history books. If not, well… let’s just hope Arlington likes elbow drops in cozy settings.
