The Minneapolis Armory is set to erupt this Saturday as WWE NXT presents its annual Deadline premium live event. With a card packed full of intrigue, rivalries, and opportunities for NXT’s rising stars, the night promises to deliver unforgettable moments. Headlined by the innovative Iron Survivor Challenges, Deadline features five thrilling matches, including two title defenses and the unique spectacle of NXT Underground.

Let’s break down the final card.

1. Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge

The Women’s Iron Survivor match could very well steal the show—or close it. Five competitors will battle it out over 25 minutes to earn a future shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. The lineup includes:

  • Zaria
  • Giulia
  • Stephanie Vaquer
  • Sol Ruca
  • Wren Sinclair (who clinched her spot with a win in Tuesday’s Last Chance Fatal Four-Way).

With a mix of raw newcomers and seasoned competitors, this match is brimming with unpredictability.

2. Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge

The men’s edition boasts its own star-studded lineup, including:

  • Former NXT Champion Ethan Page
  • NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer
  • Former North American Champion Wes Lee
  • Newcomer Je’Von Evans
  • Mystery Entrant (originally Eddy Thorpe, now out due to a backstage attack).

This field is wide open, with the added suspense of who might fill Thorpe’s spot.

3. NXT Tag Team Championship: Frazer & Axiom vs. No Quarter Catch Crew

Frazer and Axiom, the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions, defend against Miles Borne and Tavion Heights of the No Quarter Catch Crew. The challengers earned their spot in a battle royal, but Frazer and Axiom’s lack of cohesion could spell disaster for their reign.

4. NXT Underground: Jaida Parker vs. Lola Vice

For the first time at Deadline, the ropes are coming off. Jaida Parker faces Lola Vice in an NXT Underground match. Vice is undefeated in this brutal MMA-inspired format, even boasting a KO victory over Shayna Baszler. Parker, however, looks to turn Vice’s perfect record into a stepping stone.

5. NXT Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Ridge Holland

After weeks of tension, Trick Williams puts his NXT Championship on the line against the powerhouse Ridge Holland. Holland earned this opportunity after defeating Andre Chase and later making a statement by sending Williams through the announce desk. Williams is heading into this match battered, but he’ll need every ounce of resilience to fend off the relentless Holland.

What’s at Stake?

Both Iron Survivor winners will earn title shots at New Year’s Evil, potentially setting up fresh rivalries for the new year. Meanwhile, every other match on the card has the potential to reshape the NXT landscape heading into 2025.
