Toni Storm may have returned to AEW earlier this week, but her appearance on AEW Collision on December 14 has fans scratching their heads more than ever. Storm declared herself “officially All Elite” in a puzzling post-match promo and followed it up with a series of surreal backstage interactions that left both fans and her AEW colleagues utterly baffled.

An Introduction to… Herself?

After a decisive victory over Shazza McKenzie on Collision, Storm grabbed the mic to make an “announcement.” The St. Louis crowd offered supportive, if slightly bemused cheers as Storm proclaimed, “I’m officially All Elite!”—seemingly oblivious to the fact that she’s been a part of AEW since 2021.

Things got weirder when Storm interrupted Tony Schiavone’s backstage interview with Thunder Rosa. Apologizing profusely, Storm introduced herself as if she were meeting Rosa for the first time. Rosa and Schiavone exchanged incredulous glances as Storm threw up her rocker hand signs and breezed away.

A Trip Down Memory Lane… or Not?

AEW’s social media team kept the intrigue alive by releasing an exclusive promo featuring Storm, where she reflected on her career with a mix of childlike wonder and time-travel aspirations. Storm expressed a desire for a “DeLorean” to inform her younger self about her wrestling success and rattled off a list of potential opponents, including Mercedes Moné, Willow Nightingale, and Hikaru Shida.

To cap things off, Storm introduced herself backstage to Mark Briscoe, who could only offer a thoroughly confused look.

Fan Theories Run Wild

The AEW Universe has been buzzing with speculation about Toni Storm’s new storyline. Could this be memory loss? A split personality? A new character embracing her quirky persona to the extreme? AEW and Storm remain tight-lipped about the creative direction, but fans are along for the ride, no matter how surreal it becomes.

For now, one thing is certain: Storm has everyone talking. Whether she’s “officially All Elite” or just rediscovering it, her antics are some of the most entertaining—and perplexing—in AEW today.
