On Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, fans were hit with a cryptic teaser that screamed, “Something big is coming… and it might have zero fear.” In what could only be described as WWE’s version of a post-credits Marvel teaser, a mysterious symbol—a zero with a line through it—flashed across the screen. Dramatic music played, the background was black, and suddenly the internet collectively lost its mind.

Speculation spread faster than a Penta enziguri, with fans immediately connecting the zero symbol to Penta El Zero Miedo (Pentagon Jr.), the former AEW and Lucha Underground star whose name literally translates to “Zero Fear.” The timing makes perfect sense—Penta became a free agent at the end of November, and wrestling Twitter has been thirstier for his WWE debut than a crowd waiting for Steve Austin’s glass-shattering entrance.

Adding fuel to the fire, Penta recently appeared in AAA, where he seemingly said a heartfelt adiós to his Mexican fanbase. And while WWE contracts generally mean an end to working with AAA, that emotional farewell only deepens the belief that Penta is ready for a new chapter.

But, like any good wrestling storyline, there’s controversy lurking in the background. Penta’s exit from AEW didn’t exactly come with a handshake and a “thank you.” His brother, Rey Fenix, reportedly had injury time added to his contract after rumors spread that the Lucha Bros had been in talks with WWE while still working under Tony Khan. Fenix, now projected to stay in AEW for another year, voiced his frustrations in since-deleted social media posts, while Penta, seemingly less burdened by backstage politics, took his lucha mask and left.

Fans have also questioned whether Penta would make the WWE jump solo, without Fenix by his side. The Lucha Bros’ absence from AEW programming since August 2024 has only added more intrigue to their next moves. For now, though, Penta seems poised to make an impact on his own—and the WWE Universe is ready.

So, what does the “0” really mean? Is Penta about to step through the ropes in WWE, or is this just another cryptic video WWE likes to drop to send fans into a frenzy? Only time will tell.

One thing’s for certain: If the zero symbol does mean Penta, WWE Raw is about to get a lot scarier—and a lot cooler.
