Is Penta El Zero Miedo Taking His Talents to WWE?
In the latest episode of “Who’s Behind the Mysterious Symbol?” WWE aired a cryptic vignette on Raw featuring a circle with a slash through it, setting off speculation faster than a superkick. Wrestling sleuths immediately connected the dots (or circles) to former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo, whose “Cero Miedo” logo bears a striking resemblance to the teased symbol.
Penta, who recently exited AEW after his contract expired, has long been rumored to be heading to WWE. Could this be his grand entrance, or is WWE trolling us harder than a heel promo in Chicago?
Enter Jose the Assistant: Troll or Teammate?
Adding fuel to the speculative fire, former AEW star Jose the Assistant decided to stir things up on X (formerly Twitter). Jose posted the same circle-with-slash symbol on his account and even swapped out the “o” in his display name for the cryptic logo. Is this a show of solidarity, a clever marketing ploy, or just a way to remind people he exists?
Jose’s connection to Penta runs deep. The two clashed during AEW’s Death Triangle vs. Andrade El Idolo feud back in 2021, when Jose managed Andrade’s corner. Andrade has since returned to WWE, while Jose has been a free agent since March, keeping busy by dropping hints about a potential WWE deal and lurking backstage at TNA events.
Mystery Circles and Wrestling Circles
Whether Penta is the mastermind behind the vignette or WWE is setting us up for an entirely different swerve, one thing’s for sure: the internet wrestling community is on high alert. Could Penta and Jose reunite under the WWE banner? Will Andrade get involved? And most importantly, does WWE have any actual plans for these cryptic teases, or are we just overthinking again?
