AEW’s Worlds End event in Orlando wasn’t just a showcase of high-flying moves and title drama—it also became a hotspot for backstage tea, thanks to a couple of intriguing appearances. Former WWE stars Tom Pestock (the artist formerly known as Baron Corbin) and AJ Francis (Top Dolla to his fans and a few critics) were spotted mingling with the All Elite crowd, setting the wrestling rumor mill ablaze.

Pestock, now a free agent-in-waiting after WWE decided to leave his contract in the recycle bin this November, played his cards close to the vest. No word yet on whether he was pitching a storyline, scoping out catering, or just taking a nostalgic stroll through Gorilla. Independent promotions are reportedly lining up to book him, and Tyrus even offered him a helping hand late last year. For now, Pestock’s next move is still shrouded in mystery—just like that “Lone Wolf” gimmick he used to roll with.

Meanwhile, Francis appeared to be networking harder than a LinkedIn premium subscriber. Seen chatting with AEW bigwig Tony Khan, his former Hit Row buddy Swerve Strickland, Prince Nana, and Jeff Jarrett, he was clearly in his element. Having recently tagged with KC Navarro in TNA’s First Class, Francis is among several names exiting TNA’s roster following a wave of contract expirations. With his deal officially ending on January 1, fans are already speculating about whether the Worlds End schmoozefest signals an All Elite debut—or just a really well-catered reunion.

So, what’s next for Pestock and Francis? Whether it’s the indie scene, AEW, or a surprising curveball, wrestling fans love nothing more than a comeback story—or, at the very least, a dramatic Instagram post.
