The buzz of WrestleMania weekend typically turns its host city into a wrestling mecca, with promotions from around the globe flocking to capitalize on the festivities. However, for the 2025 WrestleMania in Las Vegas, it seems ROH’s Supercard of Honor might not join the party.

Change of Plans?

According to a report from WrestleZone, a source in Las Vegas has revealed that Supercard of Honor, initially scheduled for Easter weekend near Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, has been scrapped—or at least postponed. While AEW and ROH were targeting a venue close to the WrestleMania action, plans have shifted, and the event’s fate remains uncertain.

Despite the uncertainty, it’s possible that the Supercard of Honor could still take place—just not during WrestleMania weekend or in Las Vegas. ROH has a history of scheduling flexibility, with events like the 2010 and 2011 Supercard of Honor happening in May, far from the WrestleMania spotlight.

A Break from Tradition?

The Supercard of Honor has become a staple of WrestleMania weekend, drawing fans with its mix of top-tier independent talent and marquee matches. Notably, the 2019 event at Madison Square Garden, held alongside NJPW, was one of ROH’s most celebrated shows. However, this year’s absence would mark a significant break from the tradition that many fans have come to expect.

No official reason for the change has been provided by AEW or ROH, leaving fans to speculate on whether logistical issues, venue conflicts, or strategic considerations are at play.

What’s Next for ROH?

While the potential absence of the Supercard of Honor from WrestleMania weekend is disappointing, ROH’s adaptability in the past suggests they may find an alternative date and location. Fans will have to wait for official announcements to see if and when the event takes place.
