Folks, the NXT Women’s North American Championship remains firmly in the hands of Fallon Henley—but not without some serious turbulence along the way. After successfully defending her title against the recently returned Shotzi, Henley barely had time to celebrate before her next challenger immediately made her presence known. Because in NXT, you don’t get to breathe—you just keep fighting.
Shotzi, rocking her signature green hair and fresh off a tough ACL recovery, had her usual chaos squad at ringside: Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin. But Henley wasn’t alone either, rolling deep with her Fatal Influence crew—Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne. Unsurprisingly, things got messy fast. Halfway through the match, the ringside entourages decided they’d had enough of watching wrestling and took the fight backstage, turning the match into a true one-on-one contest.
Shotzi almost pulled off the win with a top-rope senton, but Henley had other plans. A Famouser sealed the deal, and just as Henley could maybe enjoy her victory, boom—enter Stephanie Vaquer. The former CMLL Women’s Champion, fresh off a big win a few weeks ago, stepped up to claim her title shot at Vengeance Day.
So now, it’s official: Fallon Henley vs. Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s North American Championship on February 15 in Washington, D.C. One challenger down, another one ready to go. Because if you hold a championship in NXT, there’s no such thing as a day off.
