Folks, we need to talk about wrestling fans who don’t understand boundaries. We love the sport, we love the performers—but some people out there are confusing WWE with a dating app, and Asuka has had enough.

On Wednesday, the former WWE Women’s Champion took to social media and shut things down with the force of a spinning backfist.

“I absolutely reject any romantic or personal approaches toward me. There is absolutely no possibility for others to interfere in my private life.” – Asuka

Translation? Stop being weird. This is not a storyline. This is real life.

Asuka Feels Unsafe – And That’s Not Okay

If that wasn’t clear enough, Asuka followed up with an even more concerning post, revealing that she has felt in danger recentlyto the point of consulting the police. She didn’t give details, but just the fact that a wrestler felt unsafe enough to take legal action says all we need to know.

And just in case someone still wasn’t getting the message, she drove the final nail in the coffin of creepy behavior with this:

“Do not have romantic feelings for me. It’s meaningless…100% pointless.”

Asuka is here to kick heads off, not entertain parasocial fantasies.

The Timing Couldn’t Be Worse

Asuka has been recovering from a knee injury since last May, and WWE is reportedly preparing for her return. Whether that means a surprise Royal Rumble appearance or a longer wait remains to be seen, but this unwanted attention is clearly not what she needed during her comeback.

Bottom Line? Respect the Superstars.

This is not the first time WWE stars have had stalkers, overzealous fans, and straight-up security risks. Rhea Ripley, Rey Mysterio, and CM Punk have all dealt with people crossing the line. It needs to stop.

So to anyone out there who thinks harassing wrestlers is acceptable behavior:

  1. It’s not.
  2. Read that again.
  3. If your name isn’t Io Sky or Kairi Sane, Asuka is NOT interested.

Let’s enjoy the wrestling, respect the performers, and let Asuka focus on getting back in the ring—where she can do what she does best: kick people in the face.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
